A Rainy Day

A rainy day is a very common incidence in the rainy season. It rains for a long time in the rainy day. On that day the sky remains overcast with black clouds. We cannot see the sun for a long time.  The roads go under water and it becomes muddy and slippery. No one can go outside without umbrella. Students cannot go to school, the office-goers, the workers and many other professionals cannot go outside and to their respective jobs due to heavy rain fall. The people cannot go to the market to buy their daily necessary commodities. Sometimes boys are seen playing and bathing themselves in the rainy day.  Many housewives like to cook nice recipes on that day. Poets like to write nice poems in the rainy day.  Though it is a boring day to me, I enjoy the sounds of the dropping of the rain.
